QCU Hosts HIV Awareness Events and Offers Free Screenings
In preparation for World AIDS Day on December 1st, Quezon City University (QCU) organized HIV Awareness Events and provided free screenings on November 28th and 29th, 2023, across its three campuses. The initiative was a joint effort between QCU’s Medical and Dental Services, Gender and Development Unit, and Community Engagement Unit, as well as Klinika Batasan, AJ Maximo Social Hygiene Clinic, and Batasan Social Hygiene Clinic of the QC Health Department.
These events aimed to educate students and employees about HIV, equipping them with crucial knowledge to prevent the virus. The program included informative sessions and free HIV screenings.
The two-day event showcased QCU’s dedication to combatting HIV and promoting health awareness within its community.
