The unit tasked to manage and provide learning resource and library services to the community has the following duties and responsibilities:

a. provides efficient library services to the University community;
b. provides library assistance to external and other library users;
c. assumes administrative responsibility for efficient operation of the library in the University through its Technical and Readers Sections such as in acquisition, classification and cataloguing, documentation, bindery and computer works;
d. supports the instructional and research programs of the University; and
e. recommends policies relative to the use, withdrawal and return of books and reference materials.

The University shall have a Library Board, the composition of which shall be determined by the University President. The Library Board shall promulgate policies, rules and regulations pertaining to acquisition of books and other learning resources as well as developmental programs of the University library.
