The Quezon City Government and Quezon City University (QCU) took a significant step toward enhancing research, information and communication technology (ICT) education through a strategic meeting with Konkuk University of South Korea. This collaboration aims to position QCU as a Global Center for Collaboration and develop state-of-the-art facilities focused on technological advancements.
Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte and QCU President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza led discussions with Prof. Kim Gyoung Mo of Konkuk University, Seo KookHan, President of the Korea Virtual Human Industry Association, Choi InHo, CEO of Dcarrick Inc, and Jeon WooYeol, CEO of VENTARV.
During their January 23, 2025 visit at QCU, the South Korean delegation toured San Bartolome campus, meeting with university officials, department heads, and college representatives to explore opportunities for academic and technological collaborations. This partnership aligns with QCU’s vision of leveraging global expertise to drive innovation and technological growth within the institution.
This initiative marks a key milestone in QCU’s commitment to excellence in ICT and research, paving the way for joint projects, exchange programs, and facility enhancements that will benefit students and faculty alike.
