Padyak Tulong sa Kabuhayan: Turn Over Ceremony

Happened last March 10, 2022: QCU-Extension Management Office (EMO) in collaboration with the QCU National Service Training Program (NSTP), conducted a turn-over ceremony, entitled, “Padyak Tulong sa Kabuhayan: Turn Over Ceremony” in QCU Batasan Campus.

Through the ceremony, the University in partnership with the QCU National Service Training Program (NSTP) successfully turned over three (3) REPURPOSED PEDICABS to three (3) farms in the Second District of Quezon City and Native Chickens to the Miraculous Farm.

After the turn-over part of the ceremony, a quick orientation regarding the seeds donated by Benguet State University to the QCU Community Farms was also conducted.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, Hon. Julienne Alyson Rae V. Medalla (Former Head, Education Affairs Unit), Hon. Clark David Valmocina (Councilor, District 2), Mr. Rogelio Reyes (NSTP Head), Ms. Cristina Perez (Head, JOY of Urban Farming), and Mr. Nonong Velasco (Head, SDAU).

Also, 8 members from the QCU NSTP Repurposing Team were present for the awarding of Certificates of Recognition. Moreover, there are 107 farmers from the second and fifth districts of Quezon City attended as participants.

Lastly, the program was successful thru the assistance of 25 members of the committee coming from, QCU Extension Management Office, QCU-NSTP Faculty, QCU-Council of Students Leaders, QCU-Creative Student Society, and Administrative Personnel from QCU Batasan Campus.
