The 7th Civil Relations Group, Civil Relations Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), successfully launched the inaugural TRIB-YOUTH para sa WPS 2024 on December 18, 2024, at the Quezon City University (QCU) Auditorium.

With the theme “Our Seas, Our Rights, Our Future,” the event aimed to raise awareness among the youth about the importance of protecting the West Philippine Sea (WPS) and to inspire a new generation of leaders committed to safeguarding the nation’s maritime heritage.

The program brought together students from various schools, showcasing their talents through powerful performances, including music, theater, dance, and spoken word. These creative expressions centered on the significance of the WPS in the context of Philippine sovereignty, environmental preservation, and national unity.

TRIB-YOUTH para sa WPS 2024 was more than just a performance—it was an empowering gathering, encouraging the youth to take responsibility for the future of the West Philippine Sea and to embrace their roles as leaders and advocates for environmental sustainability.

This event marked the beginning of an ongoing effort to engage the youth in national issues and inspire them to actively participate in preserving the country’s maritime heritage.
