L’Oréal Citizen Day: Cultivating Cultures, Empowering Minds
L’Oréal Citizen Day 2025 at Quezon City University was a powerful celebration of the theme “Cultivating Futures, Empowering Minds.” The campus came alive with energy, purpose, and hope as students, leaders, and changemakers gathered for a transformative day of learning and connection. In partnership with LP4Y and SPARK Philippines, L’Oréal Philippines led the way in nurturing personal growth, well-being, and sustainable living.
The event opened with inspiring messages from Hon. Mayor Joy Belmonte, whose dedication to youth empowerment continues to shape Quezon City’s future, and Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, University President, whose leadership drives QCU’s mission to uplift communities through education.
Throughout the day, voices of purpose echoed across the university. Yassine Bakkari, L’Oréal PH Managing Director, reminded us of the power of beauty with purpose and the role of corporate citizenship in building a better world.
Zoe Laine, LP4Y Partnership Project Leader, spoke passionately about inclusion and the impact of empowering marginalized youth. Maica Teves, SPARK PH Executive Director, delivered a compelling mission briefing, emphasizing the importance of personal grooming, mental health, and sustainability in shaping confident, resilient, and responsible individuals.
Participants immersed themselves in hands-on sessions designed to ignite self-confidence, emotional strength, and environmental awareness:
- Personal Grooming: Elevating self-esteem and readiness for the future
- Mental Health: Fostering inner resilience and well-being
- Sustainability: Inspiring eco-conscious living and responsible citizenship
L’Oréal Citizen Day was not just an event—it was a movement. A call to action. A reminder that when we invest in minds and nurture futures, we create a world where every young person has the power to thrive.
