QCU Wins Bronze for Best Website Design and Management at the 16th ALCUCOA National Conference
Quezon City University’s website was awarded as a top three in Best Website Design and Management at the 16th National Conference of the Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA) held on October 2, 2023 at the Manila Hotel, Manila.
QCU won along with the Laguna University (Silver) and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (Gold). QCU’s website was acknowledged for conveying its institutional values, achievements, and commitment to excellence, becoming a powerful tool for community outreach and engagement, and fostering a positive relationship between the institution and the community it serves.
Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, QCU President, received the award from Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, President and Executive Director of ALCUCOA, and the panel of judges led by Prof. Ernesto “Boogie” C. Boydon, MSCS, member of the Board of Trustees of Tagpros, a non-profit organization for the delivery of supplemental learning in schools, and instructional support for teachers.
The 16th ALCUCOA National Conference with the theme “The Future of Quality Assurance in Philippine Higher Education” is a two-day event held from October 2 to 3, 2023 that gathers more than 48 local colleges and universities in the country to discuss the critical role of quality assurance in ensuring that higher education institutions (HEIs) provide students with high-quality education that meets the needs of the industry and of the society.
