QCU Signs MOC and Participates in World Young Scientist Summit 2024 in China
Quezon City University (QCU) actively participated in the World Young Scientist Summit (WYSS) 2024, held from November 13–15, 2024, in Wenzhou, China. As part of the summit’s activities, QCU signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with Yalong Intelligent Equipment Group Co., Ltd. (Yalong Group), marking an exciting milestone of international collaboration.
The WYSS 2024 brought together young scientists, researchers, and educators from around the world to discuss global challenges and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. Focusing on innovation, science, and technology, the summit featured plenary and parallel sessions, exhibitions, and forums that encouraged cooperation among scientists, academics, and industry leaders.
Before the main summit activities, participants had the opportunity to visit Yalong Group at the Chuangyi Building, where they explored cutting-edge technologies in robotics and industrial equipment. Yalong Group’s commitment to technological innovation and youth empowerment set the stage for the summit’s objective of bridging academic inquiry with real-world applications.
QCU’s involvement in the summit was further underscored by its participation in the vibrant exchange of ideas with universities from various countries, including representatives from the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST), University of Makati, and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). This diverse international participation highlighted the global scope and impact of WYSS 2024.
The MoC signed between QCU and Yalong Group marks a promising step in fostering future collaborations that will benefit both students and faculty. This partnership paves the way for joint research projects, knowledge sharing, and academic exchanges, reinforcing QCU’s commitment to advancing its academic network and global presence.
