Quezon City University (QCU) recently participated in the 32nd Capability Training Program organized by the Commission on Accreditation for Local Colleges and Universities (ALCUCOA). The event, which took place from April 29 to May 1, 2024, at La Carmela de Boracay Hotel in Malay, Aklan, focused on the theme “Relearning Outcomes-Based Education.”
Led by Dr. Lucila R. Calairo and Dr. Rene M. Colocar, the program addressed essential aspects of Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) to enhance the quality of education in local colleges and universities (LCUs). Discussions revolved around topics such as OBE implementation in ASEAN, constructive alignment, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and the future of OBE in LCUs.

Workshops allowed the participants to share best practices and align institutional policies with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education).
