QCU Greets Freshmen on Welcome Walk 2024 at San Bartolome Campus
More than 3,000 freshmen students joined this year’s Freshmen Welcome Walk 2024 with the theme, “Tayo ang QCU, Tayo sa QC” on August 30 at Quezon City University (QCU), San Bartolome Campus.
The freshmen students are welcomed by the University President, Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, Dr. Bradford C. Martinez, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Ms. Pia Angelina C. Tan, Vice President for Administration and Finance together with the College Deans, Chairpersons and Administrative Officials.
In her message, Dr. Atienza encouraged the freshmen students to actively join student organizations that will hone their skills and talents. While Dr. Martinez, in his message, encouraged the new students to soar high and achieve their dreams.
The program started with a parade around the university campus together with various university student organizations.
QCU Ligers Pep Squad, Tanghalang QCU, and QCU Taekwondo team showcased their outstanding performances during the program that amused the students.
This is an annual celebration to welcome the first year students and the new academic year for QCians.
