QCU and UPLB Seal Strategic Partnership Under DOST-NRCP RDLead Program
On February 16, 2026, Quezon City University (QCU) and University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) formalized a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the DOST–NRCP RDLead Program, facilitated by RDLeader Dr. Fernando C. Sanchez.
The MoU signing took place at the UPLB Office of the Chancellor Executive Conference Room and was attended by QCU President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza and UPLB Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs Atty. Eric Paul D. Peralta.
The event was organized with the support of the UPLB Office for Internationalization and Development of Higher Education (OIDHE), led by Director Jenielyn T. Padrones, and was graced by NRCP representative Mr. Marfy Lita. Also present were officials from UPLB–OIDHE, faculty and staff from the QCU National Service Training Program (NSTP) and the Center for Urban Agriculture and Innovation, as well as members of the RDLead team.
This partnership reinforces the commitment of QCU and UPLB to advance institutional development initiatives, paving the way for strengthened collaboration in research, extension programs, and capacity-building efforts that will benefit both academic communities.
