QCU Connects Young QCitizens with Academic Opportunities at Youth Fair
Quezon City University (QCU) joined the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026: Sama-sama sa Kaunlaran QC Youth Opportunities Fair on August 27, 2026, at the Risen Garden, Quezon City Hall, bringing information on accessible higher education and university opportunities closer to young QCitizens.
Organized by the Quezon City Government through the Quezon City Youth Development Office (QCYDO), in partnership with the Small Business and Cooperatives Development and Promotions Office (SBCDPO), the youth fair gathered government offices and institutions to connect young people with educational opportunities, programs, services, and initiatives supporting their personal and professional development.
QCU participated through an information booth where youth participants learned more about the University’s academic programs and student experiences. Representing QCU were Ms. Rozi Mae A. Broqueza of the Extension Management Office and QCU Kampus Ambassadors Princess N. Arroyo, Rheign B. Olea, and Micaella B. Bibano.
The activity also featured youth led businesses, cultural performances, messages from youth leaders and officials, and a ceremonial ribbon cutting to formally open the participating booths. Through its participation, QCU continues to strengthen its engagement with young QCitizens by promoting accessible educational opportunities and supporting initiatives that advance youth development, empowerment, and meaningful participation in
the community.
