QCU Faculty and Officials Present Research Papers at A-GRaSS 2025 in Vietnam
Quezon City University (QCU) faculty members and administrative officials presented their research papers during the Asian Graduate Studies Summit (A-GRaSS) 2025 held on May 21–23, 2025, at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education in Vietnam.
Ten delegates from QCU participated in the conference, with eight presenting onsite and two delivering their papers online.
Onsite paper presenters included:
- Dr. Aura Marie B. Novesteras (College of Engineering) – Exploring the Relationship Between Flexible Work Arrangements and Staff Work Outcomes (SDG 3)
- Dr. Randel Estacio (College of Education) – 1) Personality and Pedagogical Preferences of Pre-Service Early Childhood Educators, and 2) Pop-Up Books as a Tool for Multisensory Learning: Improving Engagement and Retention in Early Childhood Education (SDG 4)
- Dr. Nina C. Apusaga (College of Engineering) – Multisensory Approaches in Calculus Instruction: Enhancing Engineering Students’ Conceptual and Analytical (SDG 4)
- Dr. Rina R. Palmiano (College of Education) – A Review of Hybrid Learning Strategies in Asia-Pacific Regions, Europe, USA, Middle East, and the Philippines (SDG 4)
- Angela Arago (College of Computer Studies) – Sustainability in Focus: Awareness, Attitudes, and Interest in Sustainability-related Initiatives of Selected Students (SDG 13)
- Paula Joy Dela Cruz (College of Computer Studies) – Faculty Perceptions of Sustainability Initiatives: Insights on Knowledge, Readiness, and Integration of Sustainability Concepts in Teaching (SDG 13)
- Dr. Erlee Angel S. Reyes (College of Business) – Startup Ready: Assessing the Effectiveness of University Incubators and Mentorship Programs (SDG 9)
- Lenard F. Bien (REPL-EMO) – Sustainability Literacy Among University Students: Preliminary Findings from QCU (SDG 4)
- Angelito P. Bautista Jr. (REPL-RMO) – Generative AI in Education: Risks, Acceptance, Trust, and Usage among Selected Students in the Philippines (SDG 4)
Online presentations included:
- Dr. Glenda A. Rebucas (College of Business) – Challenges of Program Accreditation from the Lens of School Administrators: Overcoming Barriers and Expanding Opportunities (SDG 4)
- Dr. Jeffrey Cacho (College of Engineering) – Examining Urban Agriculture and Technology Management in Selected NCR Cities: Insights for Sustainable Developmen (SDG 9)
The presentations reflected QCU’s growing research output aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and affirmed its role in regional and international academic dialogue.
