QCU’s Street Learning Program Reaches Over 1,000 Children in North Fairview
From March to June 2024, over 1,000 children from Barangay North Fairview were reached and inspired through the Street Learning Program Year 2, a meaningful partnership between Barangay North Fairview and Quezon City University (QCU) through the Extension Management Office.
This initiative was not just about teaching — it was also an opportunity for QCU student-volunteers to engage in service learning, applying their knowledge and compassion as Street Learning Teachers, while gaining real-world experience in community education and outreach.
Special thanks to Kagawad Mark Anthony Pader, a proud QCU alumnus and completer of the QCU Executive Course for Barangay Leaders on Systems Delivery Support for the OSY, whose leadership and commitment to inclusive learning helped turn this vision into reality.
