April 03, 2022 | Pinagbuklod na Farmers ng Parkwood Payatas
The Extension Project Team is composed of faculty members from the Entrepreneurship Program of the College of Business and Accountancy led by Mr. Daryl R. Panganiban (Project Leader), and in collaboration with the QCU Extension Management Office. The team has successfully launched their extension project entitled, “ENTREPRENEURSHIP BASICS” on April 03, 2022 for the “Pinagbuklod na Farmers ng Parkwood Payatas (PFPP)” at Violago Homes Parkwood Hills, Payatas Road, Quezon City.
The SIMULA Program of QCU SMILE Extension Program, is a short training course that seeks to provide the learners with fundamental understanding of entrepreneurship specifically created to hone their crafts. The project also aims to guide the target community farmers in developing their entrepreneurial mindset and farming techniques as the first step, or “SIMULA” of their journey towards entrepreneurship. The SIMULA Program: Entrepreneurship Basics is a 9-week session program (including the kick-off ceremony and commencement) which will enable the beneficiaries to identify possible markets, locate opportunities, build their own product/s, construct a business model, and learn entrepreneurial finance as well as marketing and sales tactics to reach their target clients.
This project is a result of community needs assessment and scanning undertaken by the extension providers under the Entrepreneurship Program, supported by a Memorandum of Partnership between the University and Pinagbuklod na Farmers ng Parkwood Payatas (PFPP).
