QCU Will Co-host the Asian Graduate Studies Summit 2024 in Thailand, Focusing on Sustainable Development

Quezon City University (QCU) will serve as a co-host partner for the Asian Graduate Studies Summit 2024 (A-Grass). The summit, organized by the Asia Pacific Consortium of Researchers and Educators (APCORE) Inc. and the Burapha University – Graduate School, will take place from April 3 to 6, 2024 at the Bangsaen Heritage Hotel in Chon Buri, Thailand.
The summit’s theme is “Integrative Solutions for the Future of Asia: Catalyzing Graduate Research for Sustainable Development.” A-Grass will bring together over 200 graduate students, professors, academicians, scientists, and experts from various disciplines, representing nearly a hundred higher education institutions from countries such as Thailand, India, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
In addition to paper presentations, the conference will feature keynote speeches, round table discussions, master classes, and research boot camp sessions led by renowned experts in academia.
Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, President of QCU, will participate as one of the discussants in the Round Table Discussion on Reimagining Graduate Education in Asia.
One of the unique highlights of the event is the Research Incubation Grid, which aims to foster interdisciplinary and collaborative research projects based on the 16 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Other academic partners of the event include Bicol University, Mountain Province State Polytechnic College, and Lyceum of the Philippines University.
