QCU Student Organizations Unite to Help Typhoon Carina Victims in Kawayanan, Nitang, Quezon City

QCU students, led by the QCU Supreme Student Council (SSC), have initiated a donation drive, bringing together academic and non-academic organizations to provide much-needed aid to the residents of Typhoon Carina in Kawayanan, Brgy. Nitang, Quezon City.

Donated items, such as clothes and canned foods, were distributed to nearly 60 families. This effort was supported by local government officials, including District 5 Congressman Patrick Michael “PM” Vargas, and District 5 Councilors Alfred Vargas, Ram Medalla, and Joseph Joe Visaya.

This initiative, which falls under the Malasakit component of the QCU SMILE Extension Program, not only offers immediate relief to the victims of Typhoon Carina but also strengthens the relationship between QCU and the surrounding communities.
