QCU Rises in Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026 through Stronger Contributions to UNSDGs
Quezon City University (QCU) has been named one of the three finalists in the AIPH Youth Award 2026, marking another significant international recognition for the University’s growing work in sustainability, innovation, and youth-led development.
The recognition highlights QCU’s contribution to greener, healthier, and more resilient cities and affirms the University’s continuing role in promoting sustainability-oriented initiatives that create meaningful impact for communities. Being shortlisted as a finalist places QCU alongside other outstanding youth-led and youth-centered initiatives recognized by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH).
QCU President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza welcomed the recognition, describing it as an encouraging affirmation of the University’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and social responsibility.
“This recognition from AIPH is a proud milestone for QCU. It reflects the hard work of our faculty, staff, students, and partners who continue to advance programs and initiatives that contribute to greener, healthier, and more resilient communities. We are honored to be named among the finalists of the AIPH Youth Award 2026,” Dr. Atienza said.
