QCU Officials Engage in SDG Impact Rankings Training to Promote Collaboration for SDG Best Practices

More than 20 department heads and university officials of Quezon City University (QCU) gathered on March 8, 2024, at the Fourth Floor Conference Room, Admin Building, to enhance the university’s global standing and commitment to sustainable development.

The executive session focused on the Times Higher Education (THE) SDG World Impact Rankings and was led by distinguished speakers, Dr. Witawat Jangiam, Dean of the Burapha University Graduate School (BUU-GS), and Dr. Supphasin Thaweesak, Vice Dean for Research, Strategic Planning, and International Affairs at BUU-GS. The session aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the ranking criteria, data collection, and submission requirements.

Dr. Witawat commended QCU’s proactive stance in participating in the Impact Ranking and shared valuable insights drawn from Burapha University’s past experiences in the rankings. Meanwhile, Dr. Supphasin emphasized the importance of enhancing QCU’s research profile through publication in Scopus-indexed journals and advocated for collaborative efforts to produce high-impact papers.
