QCU Journals Open Call for Papers for Volume 4, Issue (May-June 2026)

Quezon City University (QCU) invites researchers, faculty members, practitioners, graduate students, and independent scholars to submit original manuscripts for publication in Volume 4, Issue 1 of its peer-reviewed academic journals, scheduled for release in May–June 2026.

QCU Peer-Reviewed Journals
Submissions are welcome for the following journals:

  • The Lamp: Journal of Education
    Education, Development Studies, and related fields
  • The Gavel: Journal of Business and Social Sciences
    Business, Accountancy, Social Sciences, Humanities, Public Administration, Governance, Law and Policy, Management, Economics, and related fields
  • The Star: Journal of Science, Engineering, and Information Technology
    Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Innovation, ICT, and related fields

Important Dates

  • Submission Period: Ongoing
  • Submission Deadline for Volume 4, Issue 1: 30 March 2026
  • Target Publication: May–June 2026

Eligible Manuscripts
The journals accept high-quality, original scholarly works, including but not limited to:

  • Empirical research (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods)
  • Review articles, systematic reviews, and scoping reviews
  • Policy briefs and policy analyses (for The Gavel)
  • Action research and case studies
  • Innovation and applied research papers (for The Star)
  • Research notes and technical notes (where applicable)

General Author Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • References must follow the APA 7th Edition format, unless otherwise specified by the journal.
  • Submissions are subject to plagiarism screening and must meet QCU’s originality standards.
  • Studies involving human or animal participants must comply with ethical standards and include required clearances, where applicable.

Authors may track submissions, monitor review progress, and access journal-specific
guidelines directly through the platform.

Indexing and DOI

QCU Journals are indexed in Philippine E-Journals and Google Scholar. Published articles may also be assigned Crossref Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to enhance discoverability, citation, and long-term accessibility.
