QCU Enhances Community Impact through Service Learning Program

QCU successfully advanced its mission to integrate education with community impact through a Service Learning Capability Enhancement Seminar held on November 7, 2024.
With the theme, “Empowering QCU Education through Service Learning,” the event, participated by University officials, faculty members, and students, bridged academic learning with real-world application, promoting civic engagement, reflection, and collaborative problem-solving.
Spearheaded by the QCU – Research, Extension, Planning, and Linkages Office in collaboration with the QCU Service Learning Center, the program showcased the transformative power of service learning.
The event featured department presentations and brainstorming sessions, highlighting innovative service-learning projects that not only met academic objectives but also addressed pressing community needs.
The program emphasized mutual benefits, continuous evaluation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, reinforcing QCU’s commitment to societal impact and student empowerment.
Aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, QCU reaffirmed its dedication to cultivate socially responsible leaders and foster meaningful partnerships between education and the community.
