QCU Business Enterprises Champion Sustainability and Innovation at Solaire Resort Entertainment City
Quezon City University (QCU), through College of Business (COB), proudly showcased student-led sustainable and innovative enterprises during the Life at Solaire and Solaire Cares Day: Featuring Sustainable Products, held on April 29–30, 2026, at Solaire Resort Entertainment City in Tambo, Parañaque City.
The two-day event promoted sustainability and environmental awareness through a curated bazaar featuring eco-friendly products and services, alongside engaging learning sessions that encouraged participants to integrate sustainable practices into their daily lives. Hosted at the Team Member Dining Area of Solaire Resort Entertainment City, the venue catered to approximately 6,500 team members daily, providing excellent exposure and meaningful market engagement for participating enterprises.
Representing QCU’s commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship, selected Business Implementation enterprises from the College of Business successfully introduced their products to a wider audience. The participating student enterprises collectively generated approximately Php 10,000.00 in sales, reflecting strong public interest and market potential for their sustainable offerings.
Among the featured enterprises were:
- Fullfilya’ Co. (SBENT3I) – HibiGlow, a hibiscus seed oil hair mist available in Nectarine Blossom and Ocean variants
- Erascent Enterprise (BAENT3A) – Deopod, an odor eliminator offered in lavender, vanilla, and lemon scents
- Cloveen Enterprise (BAENT3A) – Geluxe, a foot and hand deodorizer gel available in unscented, watermelon, and mint variants
- Hapil Habi PH (SBENT3K) – Hapil Habi Tumbler Bag, an eco-friendly tumbler carrier crafted from upcycled denim with Filipino-inspired ethnic patterns
- Hiyas Solutions (SBENT3L) – MightyPeel, a dishwashing paste made from upcycled saba banana peel extract
- Lunara Enterprise (SBENT3F) – Sereh, a lemongrass bar soap infused with an Ozienne Breeze scent
- Linaya Enterprise (SFENT3B) – Cosmo Klean, a foam hand sanitizer formulated with cosmos flower extract and available in vanilla, lemon, and lavender scents
- Alab Enterprise (SFENT3C) – Soléa, a turmeric-based cream blush enriched with vitamin E and offered in Resilient Pink, Fearless Red, and Confident Nude shades
The event participation was led by Dr. Glenda A. Rebucas, Dean of the College of Business, together with the support of Ms. Gracia Josue, Head of the QCU GAD and Events Management Unit; Ms. Crassandra Gorospe, Solaire Event Coordinator; Ms. Jo Ann General, QCU COB Faculty; and Ms. Elma Lyn Padlan, QCU YES Adviser and COB Faculty.
The participating enterprises were guided by dedicated Business Implementation Advisers, namely Mr. Dario Malazo, Ms. Jessica S. Pagulayan, Ms. Jo Ann D. Mariano, Ms. Jo Ann R. General, and Dr. Ronilo B. Ramilo.
This meaningful collaboration reflects QCU’s continued commitment to sustainability, experiential learning, and innovation-driven entrepreneurship. Through initiatives like this, QCU empowers its students to develop impactful, eco-conscious solutions while gaining valuable real-world business experience that contributes to nation-building and sustainable development.
