QCU Hosts DOST-ERDT Engineering Research Roadshow in Collaboration with CLSU
Quezon City University (QCU) welcomed representatives from the Department of Science and Technology–Engineering Research and Development for Technology (DOST-ERDT) through a collaborative roadshow conducted in partnership with Central Luzon State University (CLSU).
Held at the university campus, the activity aimed to expand awareness and encourage engagement in advanced engineering research initiatives and graduate scholarship opportunities under the DOST-ERDT program, with particular emphasis on the field of agricultural and biosystems engineering.
Representing CLSU were Dr. John Paulo C. Sacdalan, Head of the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, and Dr. Christopher S. Pascual, Associate Professor from the same department. During the roadshow, participants were introduced to opportunities that support the development of future researchers and professionals contributing to national innovation and science-driven growth.
Following the session, the CLSU delegation toured selected QCU facilities, including the Center for Urban Agriculture and Innovation (CUAI) and the Robotics Laboratory. The visit showcased the university’s ongoing initiatives in applied research, automation, and urban technology development, reflecting QCU’s commitment to cultivating innovation-oriented learning environments.
