QCU Participates in DOST-PCAARRD Balik Scientist Exit Presentation
Quezon City University (QCU) participated in the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD) Balik Scientist Exit Presentation, held via Zoom. The activity highlighted the accomplishments and contributions of Dr. Manny R. Reyes, Balik Scientist Awardee, following the completion of his engagement under the DOST Balik Scientist Program.
The program opened with messages from Dr. Reynaldo V. Ebora, Executive Director of DOST-PCAARRD, and Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, President of QCU. An introduction of the Balik Scientist Awardee was delivered by Mr. Rommel Geotina, Head of the QCU Center for Urban Agriculture and Innovation (CUAI), followed by Dr. Reyes’ presentation of his exit report and key accomplishments during his collaboration with the University.
The event also featured an open forum, impressions from host institutions and DOST-PCAARRD, and the awarding of a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of Dr. Reyes’ valuable contributions. The activity provided an opportunity for participants to reflect on the partnership’s outcomes and explore future directions for research, innovation, and agricultural development.
