QCU Engages in Exploratory Meetings on Community Health Research Partnership with ICH and DOST-NCR (Online)

Quezon City University (QCU) participated in a series of exploratory meetings with Innovations for Community Health (ICH) and the Department of Science and Technology–National Capital Region (DOST-NCR) on January 23 and April 29, 2026, to discuss the proposed Project SNUHI Partnership and identify opportunities for future research collaboration.

Representing QCU were Dean Paula Dela Cruz of the College of Computer Studies; Asst. Prof. Redentor G. Bucaling Jr., Program Chair of the Information Technology Department; Prof. Christian Escoto, Chair of the Computer Science Department; and Prof. Angela Arago, Chair of the Information Systems Department.

The discussions focused on potential collaborations in developing technology-driven solutions to address community health, nutrition, and public health challenges. Participants also explored opportunities to strengthen student-led research, faculty collaboration, and innovation through joint research initiatives.

The meetings marked an important initial step toward establishing strategic partnerships among QCU, ICH, and DOST-NCR, laying the groundwork for collaborative projects that leverage technology to improve community health outcomes and generate meaningful societal impact.
