QCU Robotics Team Engages Students Through Interactive Booth Activities during U-Week 2026

SDG 4 8 917

Innovation and friendly competition took center stage as the QCU Robotics Team organized an interactive booth featuring mini-games and field activities in celebration of the 32nd Quezon City University (QCU) Foundation Anniversary and University Week beginning March 2, 2026.

Led by John Daniel Cimanes, President of QCU Robotics, the initiative was made possible through the collaboration of the QCU Robotics Team, the College of Computer Studies, the College of Engineering, and other university offices and departments. The activity aimed to encourage student participation, showcase creativity in robotics, and build a stronger culture of innovation across the campus.

Located at the lobby of the QCU Administration Building, the booth offered a variety of student-centered activities, including:

  • Robotics-inspired mini-games
  • Interactive booth challenges
  • Outdoor field games
  • Participation-based student challenges

The booth and activities will run throughout University Week, inviting the entire QCU community to visit, join the games, and support QCU’s student innovators.

Through initiatives like this, QCU continues to strengthen student engagement in science and technology, promote teamwork and problem-solving, and nurture future engineers and technology leaders toward greater innovation and global competitiveness.

The QCU Robotics Team will also represent the Philippines in the 2026 VEX World Robotics Championship in Missouri, USA this April 2026.
