Quezon City University and Maynilad Water Services Inc. to Forge Academic Partnership
Quezon City University (QCU) is set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maynilad Water Services Inc., through its Maynilad Water Academy (MWA), on January 30, 2023, at the QCU San Bartolome Campus to formalize a strategic collaboration between the academic institution and the water services company.
Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, President of QCU, and Engr. Rodora N. Gamboa, Executive Director of MWA, will lead the signing ceremony.
The primary aim of the MoU is to establish an enduring partnership between the two institutions, fostering the exchange of expertise, knowledge, technology, and materials. The collaboration will focus on the development of various academic activities, with a special emphasis on the areas of environment, water, and wastewater education.
This partnership will signify a shared commitment to advancing education, research, and innovation in the critical fields of water management and environmental sustainability. The collaborative efforts between QCU and MWA are expected to contribute significantly to the academic growth and practical skills development of QCU students and faculty members in these crucial areas.
