QCU RECEIVES ITS LEVEL 1 ACCREDITATION FROM THE ASSOCIATION OF LOCAL COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES (ALCUCOA)

The Quezon City University has been awarded its Level 1 Accreditation from the Association of Local Colleges and Universities (ALCUCOA) on December 22, 2022. ALCUCOA’s President and Executive Director, Dr Raymundo P. Arcega, awarded the certificates to the four programs of the University: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship during the Faculty and Staff Convocation 2022 held at the Quezon City University. This certifies that QCU has been found to be in accordance with the ALCUCOA standards and was a result of accreditation evaluated by the Accreditors, verified by the Technical Review Board Committee, approved by the Board of Directors and confirmed by the National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies (NNQAA).

On October 4 to 6, 2022, QCU underwent a rigorous 3-day assessment on the following areas: Governance and Administration, Faculty, Curriculum and Instruction, Student Development and Services, Entrepreneurship and Employability, Community Extension Services, Research, Library, Laboratories, and Physical Plant/Facilities.

Quezon City University President, Dr. Theresita V Atienza received the certificates in behalf of the university, along with other QCU officials, Deans of programs and area program chairpersons.
