QCU Welcomes New Batch for Leadership and Public Management Certificate Courses
On July 5, 2025, the Center for Professional and Continuing Education of the Feliciano R. Belmonte Jr. School of Governance at Quezon City University (QCU), in partnership with the Quezon City Barangay and Community Relations Department (BCRD), proudly welcomed the second batch of participants for the Certificate Course on Leadership in Public Service and Fundamentals of Public Management. This new cohort hails from Districts 4, 5, and 6.
Simultaneously, ongoing participants from Districts 1 to 6 continue their advancement in the Certificate Course on Public Finance and Evidence-Based Policy and Decision Making—a program designed to strengthen the technical capacity of local leaders in data-informed governance and fiscal management.
The orientation was led by Mr. Ricardo B. Corpuz, Head of BCRD, and Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, President of Quezon City University, who both emphasized the critical role of education and professional development in building a more responsive and future-ready local government.
Through these programs, QCU remains steadfast in its commitment to developing service-oriented leaders and empowering communities across Quezon City.
