QCU to Empower Barangay Leaders through the Executive Education Certificate Course on Leadership and Public Management

Quezon City, March 21, 2024 – Quezon City University (QCU) has partnered with the QC Barangay and Community Relations Department (BCRD) to introduce a certificate course program for barangay leaders in Quezon City.

The executive education program entitled “Certificate Course in Leadership in Public Service and Fundamentals of Public Management” aims to provide the participants with the knowledge, skills, and qualities of ethical leadership through lectures, sharing of experiences, and practical workshops.

The five-day course aims to enhance leadership skills within public management, covering:

· Principles of ethical leadership for good governance.

· Developing leadership skills and effective communication.

· Adapting leadership styles for project needs and public service impact.

The course should enable them to assume greater responsibility for leading others and serve as motivation to do things right and do the right things.

With over 300 barangay officials expected to participate, this initiative seeks to foster ethical leadership and governance excellence in Quezon City.
