QCU Shares Expertise on Inclusive Early Childhood Education at SEAMEO CECCEP International Webinar
Quezon City University (QCU) College of Education Dean Dr. Randel D. Estacio was among the featured speakers at the international webinar, “Inclusive Early Childhood Education: Leaving No Child Behind,” held via Zoom on July 22, 2026.
The webinar formed part of the 9th Anniversary Celebration of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting and carried the theme, “Advancing Early Childhood Futures: Strengthening Policies, Practices, and
Partnerships in Southeast Asia.” The event gathered education leaders, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners across the region to exchange insights on advancing inclusive and equitable early childhood education.
Serving as the opening presenter, Dr. Estacio underscored the importance of ensuring that every child regardless of background, ability, or circumstance has access to quality learning opportunities. His presentation emphasized the value of inclusive, responsive, and learner-centered approaches in early childhood education, highlighting the shared responsibility of educators, institutions, families, and communities in creating environments where all children can learn, participate, and thrive.
Joining him in the webinar were Dr. Suhendri, who discussed strategies for strengthening inclusive early childhood care and education through policy and practice, and Sitti Huzaimah, M.Pd. who shared approaches to fostering inclusive learning environments for young learners. The session was oderated by Lakhaula Sahrotun Aulia, M.A. of SEAMEO CECCEP.
Dr. Estacio’s participation reflects Quezon City University’s continued engagement in international academic dialogue and regional education initiatives. It also highlights the University’s commitment to advancing inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education while contributing to meaningful conversations that shape the future of early childhood education across Southeast Asia.
