QCU Robotics Conducts its First Orientation and Team Building
Quezon City University has officially launched its first-ever QCU Robotics Orientation and Team Building, marking a dynamic beginning to a journey driven by innovation, collaboration, and leadership.
With curiosity in their hearts and a drive to build the future, our newest robotics members embarked on a day filled with excitement, challenges, and transformative learning experiences. The event served not just as an introduction to robotics—but as a powerful platform for nurturing soft skills, strengthening teamwork, and shaping the next generation of tech leaders.
Spearheaded by University President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, the program emphasized the vital intersection of technical knowledge and personal growth. The activities—from the Human Knot and Catapult Engineering to the Egg Drop Challenge—pushed students to think creatively, act collaboratively, and persevere under pressure. These weren’t just games; they were formative experiences in trust, resilience, and innovation.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Dr. Atienza, Dr. Ryan F. Arago, Engr. Leonard A. Catchillar, and the dedicated team of organizers and facilitators who brought this initiative to life. Their guidance and passion laid the foundation for a vibrant, future-ready robotics community at QCU.
The day ended with a shared vision: a team energized and equipped to shape a better, smarter tomorrow.
