QCU Library Conducts Faculty Training and Orientation on Electronic Resources
Quezon City University (QCU), through its University Library, conducted a Faculty Training and Orientation on January 7, 2026, at the QCU Library, aimed at enhancing faculty members’ awareness and effective use of the University’s library services and electronic resources.
The activity served as an informative session designed to familiarize Deans, Program Heads, and Faculty members with the wide range of digital resources available through the QCU Library, particularly e-books, e-journals, and online academic databases. The training highlighted the vital role of electronic resources in strengthening instruction, research, and academic productivity.
Representatives from partner institutions led the discussions and hands-on demonstrations, including Mr. Darren Del Carmen, Customer Success Officer of CE Logic, Inc., Ms. Shannen Santos, Solutions Specialist of CE Logic, Inc., and Ms. Mitch Marcial, Sales Executive of Libtech Source Phil. Inc. The resource persons provided in-depth guidance on navigating and maximizing digital platforms, equipping participants with practical skills to efficiently access scholarly materials for teaching and research purposes.
The activity was spearheaded by the QCU Library, headed by Ms. Edlyn O. Aquino, together with the library personnel, who facilitated the orientation and ensured active engagement among participants.
The Faculty Training and Orientation underscored QCU’s commitment to academic excellence, effective teaching, and research advancement. By strengthening faculty competence in utilizing reliable electronic resources, the University continues to promote informed research practices, innovative teaching strategies, and improved learning outcomes across all academic programs.
