QCU Joins the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children
In observance of the national advocacy campaign conducted from November 25 to December 12, Quezon City University (QCU) stands in solidarity with government institutions, educational organizations, and communities nationwide in the call to end Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC).
The 18-Day Campaign serves as a powerful reminder of the urgent need to address all forms of violence, abuse, and discrimination that threaten the safety, well-being, and fundamental rights of women and children. As an institution of higher learning, QCU recognizes its vital role in fostering awareness, encouraging dialogue, and cultivating a culture of respect, equality, and accountability within the academic community.
The University reaffirms its commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces where women and children are protected, heard, and empowered. By strengthening advocacy efforts, promoting gender sensitivity, and upholding policies that safeguard human rights, QCU continues to contribute to the prevention of violence and the promotion of dignity for all.
Together with students, faculty, staff, and partners, QCU calls on everyone to take part in building a VAW-free campus and community—one grounded in compassion, justice, and shared responsibility. Through collective action and sustained commitment, we move closer to a future where every woman and child can live free from fear and harm.
