QCU Inspires Young Minds During 2025 National Children’s Month Lakbay Aral
Last November 22, 2025, Quezon City University, in partnership with the Quezon City Public Employment Service Office (QC PESO), welcomed nearly 100 child beneficiaries from various barangays in celebration of the 2025 National Children’s Month.
Led by the QCU Kampus Ambassadors, the Lakbay Aral offered the children a meaningful learning experience, allowing them to explore the university and discover the opportunities that education can unlock. University President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza warmly received the young visitors, sharing an inspiring message that encouraged them to dream big and embrace the power of learning.
During the visit, QCU Kampus Ambassador Carl Sevilla presented information on the university’s scholarship programs, while fellow ambassador Johanna Duyag shared a heartfelt testimony about her own journey as a scholar and her experiences as a QCU student. The children then participated in a guided tour of the campus, culminating at the Center for Urban Agriculture and Innovation, where they planted seedlings and fed the fish. NSTP SBAC 1B students also served as guides, ensuring that all participants felt welcomed and supported throughout the visit.
Through initiatives like the Lakbay Aral, Quezon City University continues to demonstrate its commitment to empowering young learners and fostering safer, more inclusive, and hopeful communities for every child.
