QCU and QC Public Library Unite to Promote Education, Research, and Lifelong Learning

Quezon City, Philippines – Quezon City University (QCU) and the Quezon City Public Library (QCPL) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in education, research, and community service on February 11, 2025 at QCPL.

This partnership aims to establish a framework for shared resources, academic support, and joint initiatives, benefiting students, researchers, and the general public. By enhancing information access, promoting literacy programs, and supporting lifelong learning, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to empowering learners and fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing.

The MoU signing was honored by esteemed leaders from QCU, including Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, QCU President; Dr. Randel DL. Estacio, OIC, Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Ms. Edlyn O. Aquino, QCU Library Director. Representing QCPL were Ms. Mariza G. Chico, OIC, QCPL; Ms. Mary Ann L. Bernal, OIC, Assistant City Librarian; and Atty. Stephanie Siason-Contreras, Head of Administrative Services.

This collaboration aligns with QCU’s mission to provide quality education, foster lifelong learning, and promote academic excellence. Through the partnership, QCU students and faculty will gain access to QCPL’s extensive collection of resources, research materials, and digital services, further supporting their academic and professional growth.
