The online program ran from June 9 to July 4, 2025, following an intensive face-to-face training on Advanced Manufacturing Program for Learning and Innovation Fueling Industry and Regional Development (AMPLIFI3D) conducted from May 19 to June 6, 2025, at the Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMCen), Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC), DOST Compound, Bicutan, Taguig City.
This certification is part of the Technological Readiness and Innovation through Advanced Manufacturing in the Philippines (TRIAMPh) initiative spearheaded by the Department of Science and Technology – Metals Industry Research and Development Center (DOST-MIRDC), with the support of the DOST National Capital Region (DOST-NCR). The program aims to strengthen the capability of DOST Regional Offices, Provincial Science and Technology Offices (PSTOs), and partner State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) in the adoption and mainstreaming of advanced manufacturing technologies.
This accomplishment also positions QCU as an active partner in the country’s advanced manufacturing innovation ecosystem, enabling the university to support local industries and communities by integrating emerging technologies into engineering instruction, applied research, and community development projects.
