QCU and World Vision Explore Partnership to Advance Literacy, Inclusive Education, and Community Development
QCU welcomed representatives from World Vision Philippines for an exploratory meeting to discuss a possible partnership focused on promoting literacy, inclusive education, and community development on July 8, 2025.
The meeting provided an opportunity to share ideas and explore how both organizations can work together to support learners and reach more communities through meaningful programs.
World Vision was represented by Ms. Abigail Bayucan (Program Manager), Ms. Diane C. Lara (Program Officer), Mr. Reynaldo L. Cesar (Program Officer), and Ms. Germaine M. Del Moru (Education Specialist). From QCU, the attendees were Dr. Randel D. Estacio, OIC Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Education; Dr. Gerardo T. Bautista, Dean of the College of Accountancy; Dr. Ryan F. Arago, Dean of the College of Engineering; Dr. Jeffrey L. Cacho, Chairperson of the Industrial Engineering Program; and Mr. Lenard Bien, Acting Director of the Extension Management Office.
After the meeting, the World Vision team was given a short tour of the campus and visited the QCU Center for Urban Agriculture and Innovation Demo Farm. The visit highlighted QCU’s ongoing efforts to promote inclusive, sustainable, and community-based education.
