QCU and the Potential Educational and Cultural Partnership with Fulbright
Quezon City University President, Dr. Theresita Atienza was one of the guests for the Fulbright Philippines Reception for the Fulbright-Hays Seminar Abroad Program 2022 held on August 12, 2022, at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel. This send-off celebration for the Fulbright scholars in the Philippines was another opportunity for QCU to expand and strengthen its linkages and to discuss potential future partnerships with the agency by establishing Fulbright Quezon City. Also in attendance were Fulbright Philippines Executive Director Julio Amador III, and Miriam College President Ambassador Laura Quiambao del Rosario.
The Fulbright Commission administers the flagship foreign exchange scholarship program of the United States of America in the Philippines, aimed at increasing binational research collaboration, cultural understanding, and the exchange of ideas between the two countries.
