QCU and QCTAC Seal Partnership for Skills Development Programs
Quezon City University (QCU) and the Quezon City Training and Assessment Center (QCTAC) officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on August 22, 2025, marking the launch of two technical-vocational programs: Organic Agriculture Production NC II and Computer Systems Servicing NC II.
Under this partnership, QCU will serve as the venue for offsite training and assessment, further expanding opportunities for students and community members to gain industry-recognized certifications. This collaboration underscores the university’s commitment to skills development, employability, and lifelong learning, in line with its mission to produce competent and industry-ready professionals.
Representing QCU were Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, University President; Dr. Isagani Tano, Dean of the College of Computer Studies; Mr. Romel Sevilla, Head of the Center for Urban Agriculture and Innovation (CUAI); and Ms. Justine Sanchez. From QCTAC, the agreement was represented by Ms. Carmel Tordesillas, Ms. Judy Evangelista, Ms. Tess Galicia, and Ms. Valerie Bernardino.
This partnership highlights QCU’s role as a hub for both academic and skills-based learning, bridging higher education with practical training aligned to industry and community needs.
