“My warmest greetings to our esteemed guests from the Commission on Accreditation for Local Colleges and Universities. Welcome to Quezon City University!

The local government of Quezon City believes that education is the cornerstone of progress in every city. Thus, the City Government continues to show support for the education sector in order to assure that every QCitizen, regardless of age, sex, and religion, has access to quality education. Testament to our unwavering commitment to academic rigor is our constant support to our local university, the Quezon City University.

Since its foundation in 1994, QCU has been an active partner of the City Government in delivering free higher education to the residents of Quezon City. The university is key to our mission of strengthening the capabilities of our youth so that they will be proactive citizens who respond to the changing needs of our society.

Having said these, we believe that the accreditation for Level 2 of the four degree programs in QCU, namely: BS Entrepreneurship, BS Information Technology, BS Electronics Engineering, and BS Industrial Engineering will be a great opportunity to continue our innovative means of learning delivery to thousands of students and assure that they will graduate with proper knowledge, skills, and attitudes for their chosen fields.

As you kick off the onsite inspection and document validation today in QCU, we are hopeful that you will witness the strengths of our local university, as well as its potential in becoming a better version of itself. We put our trust and confidence in your expertise in this endeavor and to how you will guide us in achieving our goal to be recognized as the #1 local university of employable graduates.

Together let us uphold the value of excellence and quality education for the youth of Quezon City. Maraming salamat at mabuhay tayong lahat!”
