Quezon City Scholarship Program (QCYDO) Onsite Application Assistance & Renewal Enlistment

Good news! As part of its mission to provide accessible quality education, Quezon City University (QCU) collaborates with the Quezon City Youth Development Office (QC-YDO) to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

The QCYDO will go to the Main Campus of Quezon City University at San Bartolome, Novaliches to conduct onsite assistance to QCU Students. This will be held on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮-𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the 𝑸𝑪𝑼, 𝑺𝒂𝒏 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔, 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝑽𝒐𝒄 𝑮𝒀𝑴. Additionally, please note that Scholarship Renewal for QCU Scholars will also be available via the QCeServices portal during this visit.

Through the QC-YDO Scholarship for Tertiary Students, QCU ensures that deserving students from the bottom 20% Novaliches income groups have the resources needed to pursue higher education.

The QC-YDO scholarship specifically includes an Economic Scholarship category, which prioritizes applicants from households with a combined annual income within low-middle-income to poverty threshold levels. Additionally, the program is inclusive of students from various marginalized groups, such as displaced or relocated families within Quezon City, persons with disabilities (PWDs), household helpers, Alternative Learning System (ALS) graduates, solo parents, children of parents with final criminal convictions, family members of tricycle drivers and operators, and other vulnerable sectors.

This scholarship covers tuition fees and provides allowances for daily living expenses, reducing financial barriers for these students. QCU further supports scholarship recipients by offering mentorship and skills training, helping them transition smoothly into college and preparing them to succeed in the workforce.
