QCU Welcomes New Entrepreneurship Students
Quezon City University (QCU) College of Business Entrepreneurship Department welcomed its freshmen, transferees, and shiftees during its College Orientation on September 15, 2026, at the QCU Gymnasium, introducing students to the BS Entrepreneurship program, academic policies, curriculum, and student organizations.
The morning program featured Dr. Isagani M. Tano, OIC-Vice President for Academic Affairs, who delivered the welcome remarks Dr. Federico B. Ramos Jr., Program Chair of the COB Entrepreneurship Department, who introduced the College of Business officials and faculty; and Prof. Glenda A. Rebucas, PhD, DBA, LPT, Dean of the College of Business and Program Chair/Coordinator for Graduate Studies, who discussed the BS Entrepreneurship program, curriculum, and academic policies.
Ms. Elma Lyn R. Padlan, MBA, LPT, adviser of the QCU Young Entrepreneurs’ Society (QCU YES), also introduced the organization and its opportunities for student engagement.
The afternoon sessions focused on practical entrepreneurship skills. Mr. Daryl R. Panganiban, adviser and faculty member of the Entrepreneurship Department, facilitated a Design Thinking Workshop for opportunity seeking students and a Financial Statement Workshop for business implementation students.
The program was hosted by Mr. Cholo Buenaventura and Ms. Rechelle Bautista as masters of ceremonies. The activities were organized by the COB faculty advisers in collaboration with QCU YES.
Through the orientation and hands-on workshops, QCU Entrepreneurship students gained a clearer understanding of their academic journey while developing practical skills that can support them as future entrepreneurs and business leaders.
