QC Government Strengthens Partnership for Sustainable Urban Agriculture
Quezon City University (QCU), the Quezon City Government, and AgriGaia Tech Co., Ltd. of Taiwan formalized a partnership on August 24, 2026 to advance women-led urban agriculture, sustainable food systems, and community resilience in Quezon City.
The collaboration aims to establish an urban farming demonstration site and implement capacity-building programs and community learning networks that will promote sustainable agriculture and expand opportunities for women, youth, and local communities.
The partnership brings together local governance, academic expertise, and international innovation to address food security and climate-related challenges while strengthening community-based solutions.
