QCU Achieves International Success at HUTECH’s ICE Programme 2026

Quezon City University (QCU) proudly celebrates an outstanding international achievement after securing two awards at the 2nd International Cultural Exchange (ICE) Programme 2026 hosted by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) in Vietnam.

Carrying the theme, “Sustainable Tourism 2026: Change in Action,” the international program gathered 17 universities and colleges from different countries to showcase innovative ideas and cultural initiatives promoting sustainability, tourism, and global collaboration.

Demonstrating creativity, social awareness, and cultural pride on the global stage, QCU earned the following recognitions:

The award-winning entries highlighted the challenges faced by jeepney drivers amid the global oil crisis while promoting sustainable tourism, cultural preservation, resilience, and inclusive progress for communities and future generations.

Through compelling storytelling and meaningful visual communication, the QCU delegation successfully presented socially relevant and culturally grounded outputs that resonated with international audiences and evaluators alike.

The University also extends its heartfelt gratitude to QCU President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza and Officer-in-Charge for the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) Dr. Isagani M. Tano for their unwavering support, encouragement, and valuable insights during the conceptualization and development of the entries.

This remarkable achievement reflects the talent, innovation, teamwork, and dedication of QCU students in advancing sustainable and culturally responsive solutions through international academic engagement.
