QCU Marks 32nd Foundation Week with Thanksgiving Mass
Quezon City University (QCU) opened its 32nd Foundation Week celebration on March 2, 2026, with a Thanksgiving Mass held at the QCU Auditorium, gathering administrators, faculty members, and students from different colleges. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. John Harvey David Bagos.
In his homily, Rev. Fr. Bagos reminded the QCU community that knowledge must be paired with compassion, emphasizing that intelligence should always be guided by puso and malasakit in serving others and the wider community.
University President Theresita V. Atienza attended the Mass alongside faculty, staff, and students. In her message, she highlighted the deeper meaning of the university’s annual celebration.
“1QCU, hindi lang ito para sa kompetisyon, simbolo po ito ng pagkakaisa,” Atienza said, emphasizing unity within the university community as QCU celebrates 32 years of service and academic excellence.
The Thanksgiving Mass served as the spiritual opening of the university’s week-long foundation celebration.
