QCU President Dr. Atienza Highlights Ethical Innovation at ICON & IRCPAS

Quezon City University (QCU) President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza recently took the stage as a plenary speaker at the dual-event Innovation Congress (ICON) and International Research Conference on Pharmaceutical and Allied Sciences (IRCPAS).

The conference gathered academic leaders and industry experts to dissect the complex landscape of modern progress. Dr. Atienza joined a panel of distinguished scholars to discuss “The Social Impact of Innovation and Ethical Considerations,” a topic that sits at the heart of QCU’s mission.

In her talk, President Atienza underscored the importance of ethical leadership in academia, highlighting dignity, scholarship, moral capacity, and collective responsibility as essential values in building universities that are innovative, inclusive, and socially responsive. She
also shared QCU’s initiatives in campus innovation and community-centered development, reaffirming the University’s commitment to research, leadership, and public service.
