GAD Wellness Corner Offers Free Grooming and Wellness Services at QCU – Bartolome
The Quezon City University (QCU) Center for Gender and Development (GAD) set up a Wellness Corner at the Academic Lobby of the San Bartolome Campus, providing free grooming and wellness services to students and university personnel as part of the University Week celebration of QCU’s 32nd Foundation Anniversary with the theme “QCU, We RISE Stronger Together.”
The Wellness Corner opened on March 2, 2026, offering free grooming services such as eyebrow shaping and haircuts, which were availed of by students and staff throughout the day.
The activity continued on March 5, 2026, with additional wellness services including massage, facial treatments, and hair spa, giving members of the QCU community opportunities to rest and practice self-care during the week-long celebration.
According to organizers, the initiative aimed to promote well-being among students and university personnel. Some services were supported through sponsorships from Quezon City officials, including Councilor Ram Medalla, Councilor Joe Visaya, and Coun. Aiko Melendez,
The Wellness Corner is among the activities conducted during University Week to provide student support services alongside academic and co-curricular programs.
