The College of Engineering of Quezon City University (QCU), through its BS Electronics Engineering Program and the IECEP QCU Student Chapter, actively participated in the 2025 National Bike Day Active Mobility Forum held on November 22, 2025, at the QC MICE Center.

Hosted by the Quezon City Government in partnership with the Department of Transportation, the three-day celebration carried the theme “Iisang Daan, Iisang Kinabukasan: Nagkakaisang Padyak Para sa Ligtas at Likas-Kayang Pamayanan,” highlighting the collective commitment to safer, greener, and more sustainable communities through active mobility.

On the second day of the event, the IECEP QCU Student Chapter proudly showcased its innovative PEDAL POWERprototype as part of the exhibit. Designed to support active mobility and environmental sustainability, the project demonstrates the organization’s dedication to developing green, community-centered engineering solutions that respond to present and future climate challenges.

This engagement further builds on the chapter’s recent achievement, having been recognized for Excellence in Climate Action at the 2025 QC Green Awards. The featured PEDAL POWER initiative stands as one of the group’s flagship projects promoting climate-responsive and sustainable technology.

Through initiatives such as these, QCU continues to empower young engineers and student leaders to advance mobility, sustainability, and community development—underscoring the University’s commitment to engineering excellence in service of society.
