QCU Ranks Again in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025!

SDG 4 17

For the second consecutive year, Quezon City University (QCU) has secured a place in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025, further solidifying its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and institutional sustainability.

The university participated in 11 out of the 17 SDGs, marking an increase from last year’s five entries to deepen its alignment with global development objectives.

QCU continues to qualify for inclusion in the overall Impact Rankings table, having met the minimum requirement of submitting data on SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) and at least three additional SDGs. The university’s overall score is calculated based on its performance in SDG 17 and its three highest-scoring SDGs, with the final score representing a two-year average—emphasizing consistency and long-term commitment to sustainable impact.

QCU’s achievements have been met with strong support from Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, who has consistently backed the university’s mission to deliver socially relevant education aligned with global standards.

According to QCU President Dr. Theresita Atienza, “We are proud to sustain our presence in the THE Impact Rankings, and we are encouraged by the increased number of SDGs where we are now ranked,” said Dr. Theresita Atienza, QCU President. “However, we recognize that there is still much to be done.
